Walter's Wicks began in 2023, when Benjamin Walter (age 5) asked to try out a candle-making kit from a discount store. Mom and Ben (Walter) enjoyed the process so much that they started practicing with higher quality waxes, wicks, and colors in addition to mixing their own fragrances. Brother William loves to measure ingredients and fulfill orders. Dad has to drive packages to the post office. Our family business, Walter's Wicks was born!
We continue to strive to create the most amazing scented candles with high quality and frequently tested products. All of our candles are made with soy, apricot, and coconut wax from the USA. Each candle has its own custom blend of waxes to maximize the scent when the candle burns. For example, soy wax was interfering with the scent of our Summer Night Pear candle, and therefore we mix this candle with only coconut and apricot waxes. Our fragrances are always mixed with clean ingredients and are phthalate-free and carcinogen-free.
All of our candles are made in very small batches in our family kitchen. We strive to create a candle that not only smells great and fills a room, but that also serves as a decorative piece in your home.
Our dogs Ralph and Mia are very much a part of our family, and we are committed to donating a portion of our proceeds to local animal shelters.
Please let us know what you think! We continually strive to improve. Send all feedback to info@walterswicks.com

Who's Who?
Benjamin: The mastermind behind this business, our original inspiration for making candles, and the final decision-maker on all fragrances, labels, aesthetics, etc.
William: Tapes up boxes, draws blueprints for our market tents and tables, and decides on pricing. However, we had to fire him from the pricing job because he wanted $100 per candle.
Natalie: Mom. Research and Development department.
Kyle: Dad. Begrudgingly puts up with candle making supplies all over the kitchen and test candles all over the house. Drives the boys to the post office. He unknowingly will be helping to set up farmer's market tents.

Why Walter? Walter is, sort of, a family name. Natalie's father's name is Zbigniew. Anytime anybody would ask him for his name, he would use "Walter" to avoid having to repeat and spell "Zbigniew." After Benjamin was born, he remained nameless for over 24 hours. Mimi (grandma) begged to give the poor baby a name, and so we went with Benjamin Walter as a tribute to grandpa Zbigniew.
We ALWAYS test every recipe that we are considering. And even when we think we have it down, we test again! We do this so that you can rest assured that your candle will burn evenly, safely, and with a pleasant fragrance.
All hands are on deck in this family business! We are proud of the product we are creating, and we hope that you enjoy it as well!
